Scaling Leader workshops are facilitated by Courtney De Ronde and Kevin B. Jennings, who lead the room together throughout the experience.

Courtney teaches the core frameworks and tools behind the Simple ScaleUp System™, drawing on stories and examples from her own experience leading and advising growing organizations. Kevin helps guide the working sessions that follow, coaching leaders as they apply the concepts to their own teams and organizations.

Find Answers to Your Questions About the Strategic Planning Workshop

If you have an established leadership team, bringing everyone together for the Strategic Planning Workshop allows you to effectively and efficiently cascade your vision and align leaders in your organization around it.

Yes! If you don’t have an established leadership team, you can still work through the three days to complete your strategic plan, and we welcome you to do so.

If you have a leadership team but haven’t done strategic planning before, you might also prefer to attend alone for your first time based on your learning and operating preferences.

On each day of the workshop, you’ll join us from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MT. There will be a break for lunch, as well as morning and afternoon breaks with lunch and snacks provided.

You’ll have:

  • Your completed Strategic Planning Workbook that includes all the tools needed to define your three-year vision and determine your plan for the next year
  • A complete vision for your business that also includes an easy-to-reference snapshot with relevant strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Clarity around your current reality and how to take the next steps toward your vision in the coming year
  • Defined outcomes and themes for 2027 and the planned strategies and projects associated with those goals
  • Effective, trackable KPIs to measure your progress along the way, which will allow you to regroup and redirect as needed as you move forward
  • Project Briefs to help you effectively define and delegate projects to your team, contractors, or volunteers
  • Training and concrete steps to take when rolling your Strategic Plan out to your team and stakeholders

This workshop will be held at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Vail, CO. Named one of the 50 Best Resorts in the World by Conde Nast Traveler, the hotel is located near the scenic Vail and Beaver Creek Mountains.

Hotel costs are separate from your registration, but we have a discounted room block ($219 per night) that’s half off the standard rate.
