Yes, you can start an Annual Pass with any workshop.

While the program spans a three-year curriculum cycle, each workshop is designed to be self-contained, providing tools to solve significant challenges in your business.

Therefore, the workshop content is not sequential or chronological. Instead, each quarterly workshop emphasizes one or more of the four competencies necessary for leading a scaling business and offers tools that, when implemented over three years, will fully equip your organization for its scaling journey.

If you’re considering attending three workshops, we recommend purchasing an Annual Pass, particularly if you plan to attend the Q3 strategic planning workshop.

The registration fees for three à-la-carte workshops are $11,700, including the strategic planning workshop. Comparatively, the Annual Pass for all four workshops is $12,500.

To maximize the value of your Annual Pass investment, we recommend delegating attendance to one of your team leaders for the quarter(s) you’re unable to attend. This approach allows the Scaling Leader program to support the leadership development of your team.

And, if an Annual Pass isn’t right for you now, we invite you to purchase individual workshops à la carte.

After completing the three-year program, there are three ways to continue leveraging the Scaling Leader program:

  1. Enroll senior leaders
    Delegate some of their leadership development by enrolling senior leaders on your team in the program. This will deepen their understanding of the toolkit you’ve gained through the program and help them foster a community of peers outside of the organization.
  2. Continue attending Q3 strategic planning workshops
    Make attending the Q3 annual strategic planning workshops part of your organization’s yearly rhythm and routine to strengthen and maintain the habits you’ve learned in the program that support scaling.
  3. Add (or renew) your Annual Team Pass
    Maintain or renew your Annual Team Pass to involve your entire team in the scaling journey. Specific scaling tools are more effective when used by the whole team, particularly within productivity and personnel. Our rotating virtual team trainings offer a shared operating system, maximizing your team’s time, energy, strengths, personalities, and instincts. By maintaining the Team Pass, new team members can be brought up to speed during two virtual training events each year, accessible from anywhere.

Incorporating leaders from your team into the Scaling Leader program accelerates your ability to implement and integrate workshop learnings.

We understand the frustration that surfaces when enthusiasm from conferences or workshops wanes due to difficulties in sharing and adopting new ideas or strategies across the organization.

Here are two effective ways to involve your leaders and expedite progress:

  1. Enroll your right-hand person in the program with you on the Annual Pass.
    Invite key leaders, such as your COO, integrator, or senior leader, to join the program alongside you to access the same knowledge and tools so you can activate your plan together and eliminate the need for post-workshop debriefs.
  2. Utilize à-la-carte options to have leaders attend specific workshops throughout the year.
    Opt for à-la-carte registrations to allow specific leaders to attend workshops tailored to their responsibilities or development needs. This option is beneficial when:
  • A workshop directly addresses an initiative or area of development within a leader’s responsibilities
  • You’re transitioning responsibilities to leaders
  • You’ve identified an issue or development area affecting multiple leaders
  • You want to delegate some of the development and training for your team

Each toolkit is similar to possessing a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. You use each device for different functions at different times, but ideally, they integrate essential overlapping functions, such as email and calendar management. Similarly, Scaling Leader equips you with an integrated toolkit for your scaling journey. However, you’ll still experience a positive difference if you have even one of the tools.

With leaders joining us from across the country, we find value in getting away from your day-to-day responsibilities and disconnecting to do deep work.

Three of the four quarterly workshops each year will be held at The Harpeth Hotel in Franklin, TN, with rotating locations for three-day strategic planning workshops in Q3. The 2024 strategic planning workshop will be held at the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, CO.

No, hotel costs are not included in your Scaling Leader pass rate. However, we do offer room blocks with discounted rates for in-person workshops and will facilitate booking your room(s) for you.
